Waseem Garbia, PA-C
Waseem has been a PA for over 14 years, his experience range from critical cardiology, general and plastic surgery, emergency medicine, and most importantly skin and aesthetics. He has an extensive knowledge in the most current lasers, injectables, and clinical grade cosmeceuticals. Waseem is certified in multiple laser modalities and is a National Speaker for the Alma Laser Company.
He is also a certified Master Injector and a National Certified Aesthetic Educator. Allergan the makers of Botox awarded Waseem with the ACE Injector Award: a national award given to only a handful of injectors.
Waseem is a firm believer in life long skin correction and maintenance and understands that there is no "Cookie Cutter" plan for care, and is known for tailoring a treatment that fits the individual patient.
Dr. Michael Somenek, MD
Michael Somenek, M.D., is a double board certified facial plastic surgeon in Washington, D.C. whose practice offers specialized cosmetic and reconstructive services. In addition to his high levels of experience and talent, Dr. Somenek is also a compassionate and warm surgeon who finds personal fulfillment in helping patients rejuvenate their appearances and their confidence.
Education & Experience
Dr. Somenek got an undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Miami and a medical degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He stayed on at this prestigious institution for 5 more years of postgraduate training in otolaryngology, or the study of the head and neck. He then completed an intensive fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the tutelage of world-renowned facial plastic surgeons Dr. J. Regan Thomas (past president of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) and Dr. Dean Toriumi at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Dr. Somenek is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. As an author of multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and presentations at national meetings, he has contributed extensively in his field.
Wendi Schmidt
A native of Fairfax, VA, Wendi serves as the Director of Social Media and Event Planning for Dontage. She is responsible for all marketing, partnership and event coordination activities. Wendi has had passion for everything beauty, social media, and event planning throughout her life. Her current role allows her to combine those passions and help Dontage become the preeminent medical aethestic specialists in Fairfax County.
When not working, Wendi enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys and her pug.
