7 and 8 at the United States Grand Prix
This weekend sees the mid-way point of this years
Formula BMW USA championship. Taking place
tomorrow (June 30) will be the practice and
qualifying sessions. The half hour practice
session will be from 9.45am to 10.15am. The
qualifying will be at 4.25pm to 4.55pm.
Round 6
The Jensen MotorSport Formula BMW program was
also in action this weekend with Frankie Muniz
and Alex Navejar racing at the Canadian Grand
Prix in Montreal.
Both drivers showed good speed and competitveness
during the rounds 5 and 6 of the FBMW schedule.
Muniz and Navejar both made their way up towards
the top ten in both races. Muniz unfortunately
spun while trying to pass another car for 10th in
the second race and finished back in the field as
a result. Alex Navejar managed to bring his #20
BMW home in 10th place for the teams first points
of the season. Frankie Muniz is now looking
forward to the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis this
coming weekend.

Round 5
Frankie was excluded from yesterdays race (June
24) following a violation of 5.19 of the 2006
Formula BMW USA regulations. This regulation
refers to aerodynamic devices, although we are
not sure exactly how this regulation was violated
at this point.
Frankie will take part in round 6 later today. He
will start in 22nd position, with a time of
1:49.724.

Rounds 5 and 6 at the Canadian Grand
Prix
Yesterdays qualifying session (June 23) put
Frankie in 23rd place for todays race, which will
take place at 8.30am. His qualifying time was
1:49.364.
The second 30 minute race will take place at
9.15am tomorrow.
