Strip one half-inch from e ach of the wire ends using wire-stripping pliers. 7 Insert the black hot wire beneath the L1 control terminal plate up to the shoulder of th e insulation. Tighten the plate screw in a clockwise direction. 8 Insert the white neutral wire beneath the L2 control terminal plate. Do no 3 day military diet t tighten the plate screw at this time. 9 Bend the end of the bare copper ground wire into a half loop using needle nose pliers. Do not conn ect the ground wire to the green grounding post at this time. 10 Remove the terminal access plate on the electric motor.
